Critical Thinking

Critical thinking is a process of evaluating claims on the basis of well-supported evidence.

Critical thinking is a skill that has to be taught.  It’s not natural to think critically.  In fact, it was devised to account for our natural weaknesses in reasoning, such as cognitive biases and logical fallacies.

    Couldn’t agree more, I still don’t understand why this isn’t at the base of what we teach in American schools.
